Panglao International Airports
The new Panglao Island International Airport (also known as New Bohol Airport) is built to replace the existing airport in Tagbilaran City, Bohol. Construction of the airport was started in 2015 and 2 units of Linnhoff TSD 1500 MobileMix Asphalt Plants were deployed. The airport is built on a 230-hectare land and has a 2.5-km runway. The runway is designed to accommodate up to seven aircraft at a time, including large international aircraft. This project is scheduled to be completed by June 2018 and will be opened commercially in August 2018. This new airport is designed to accommodate around 2 million passengers annually.
