We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our Design team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing custom mechanical systems and components for Asphalt and Concrete plants, as well as overseeing their fabrication and testing.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop custom mechanical systems and components using CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo)
• Generate ideas for new design concepts and prototypes to produce designs and test specifications for new ideas.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Electrical and Software Engineers, Project managers, and Fabrication Technicians to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Oversee the fabrication and testing of mechanical systems and components.
• Develop and maintain project timelines and budgets.
• Perform research and analysis on materials, components, and systems to ensure optimal performance and cost-effectiveness.
• Participate in project meetings and provide technical expertise and guidance as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in mechanical design and fabrication
• Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks preferred)
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and practices
• Experience with the design and fabrication of complex mechanical systems and components
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to converse and write in English.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
