Rota International Airport

Model: Linnhoff TSD1500 MobileMix Asphalt Plant

Capacity: 100 –120 TPH (3% Moisture)

Location: Rota, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI)

Rota International Airport, also known as Benjamin Taisacan Manglona International Airport, was constructed in 2006 to ease the TSA screening of passengers going into Rota. Previously, TSA screening was only available at Saipan or Guam entry points, thus the lack of TSA screening at the Rota checkpoint was a hassle for passengers transiting from Guam to Saipan through Rota as they have to be screened at all three checkpoints. The airport is built on an area of 800 acres with one runway that spans over 1.8 km. It opened for operation in 2007.
