HDB Polder construction in Pulau Tekong Island, Singapore

A Eurotec CIP10 chilled water plant and an WST2 storage tank are supplying ice-cold water for concrete production to develop a polder at Pulau Tekong Island, Singapore. This first-of-its-kind project by Singapore’s Housing Development Board involves using this new cost-saving empoldering technique to reclaim land below sea level. The containerised plants deliver 10 tons of 1 to 2⁰C water every hour to a concrete mixer to build the dikes, drains and pumping systems needed for the project.
