Construction of Sơn La hydropower Dams in Vietnam

Two Eurotec MZP120 concrete plants worked on the largest hydropower project in South East Asia – the Sơn La Dam. The plants worked at production rates of up to 120 cubic metres per hour to support this massive infrastructure development. The RCC gravity dam sits on the Black River in Ít Ong, Mường La District, Sơn La Province, Vietnam and cost an estimated US $2 billion. It is owned by Vietnam Electricity and delivers over 10,000 GWh of energy to surrounding communities.
