Model: Eurotec MZP200 Concrete Plant, CIP12 Chilled Water Plant, SIM40 Flake Ice Plant, WST2 Storage Tank & IST2 Automatic Ice Storage System

Location: Malaysia

Duration: 2015-2019

Our contract with a key Ready-Mix Concrete Supplier is for a total of:

  • 2 units of MZP200 Concrete Plants
  • 2 units of  CIP12 (12 Tons/hour output) Chilled Water Plants
  • 2 units of SIM40 Flake Ice Plants
  • WST2 (50 Tons storage capacity) Storage Tank
  • IST2 Automatic Ice Storage System

This is used in tandem to produce over 1.5 Million cubic metre volume of High Strength Concrete for the construction of a huge concrete base for oil tanks, as well as the construction of major petrochemical plants and other related plants and amenities.

The refinery and petrochemical integrated development (RAPID) project and other associated facilities are part of the Pengerang Integrated Complex (PIC) in Pengerang, Southern Johor, Malaysia. The project was developed by a joint venture (JV) of Malaysian oil and gas company Petroliam Nasional Berhad (Petronas) and Saudi Aramco, which is the national oil company of Saudi Arabia.

Unlike the traditional method of infilling with sand, this “empoldering” method involves creating a tract of reclaimed land from the sea or a surrounding water body by constructing a dike and a network of drains, water pumping systems and canals.  It will substantially reduce the amount of sand needed for land reclamation and reap savings on upfront construction costs.
